Our Mission
Founder
Gilander is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas. Her educational background includes BA and MA of Science in Social Work with a focus in Couples and Fertility Counseling.
Gilander has over 13 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Gilander believe women and men alike are affected equally by the stages of life. Finding the right therapist during a difficult period in life is paramount.
Gilander is a certified Prepare Enrich Relationship Marriage Facilitator, certified Grief and Trauma Clinical Counseling Specialist, trained professional in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and a board-approved Clinical Supervisor for the state of Texas. Gilander’s counseling style is one of genuine respect, empathy, compassion, and understanding.
In Gilander’s spare time she provides mentorship and coaching to college level students. She enjoys sharing her professional and educational experience. She also does volunteer work for several local agencies in her community that serves the under privileges’.
